DOORMAN
The process of creating my door stopper began when I started to prop up the door of my house with a wide wooden wedge, which I had left as wood waste from one of production processes. And then I realised that while working on this idea, it was possible to create a product that would meet the expectations of people who are looking for something similar in stores but cannot find it.
So, for quite a long time, in the creative process, I managed to create a door stopper that would have the following properties:
1. Durable (hardwood – ash or oak)
2. Modern minimalist design that fits the interior of a modern room.
3. Optimal dimensions and safe, and the height of the wedge angle that does not damage the bottom of the door.
4. Guaranteed wood sliding on any floor covering, which allows, when combined with the design features, to control the door stopper with just your foot.
5. This door stopper is safe to use because all sharp corners are rounded so that if you accidentally trip over it, you won’t get hurt.
ADAM & EVE
The idea to create decorative plates - ’Adam’ and ‘Eve’, came to me gradually. I started using a simple ash plate to decorate my vase when there were no flowers in it. This simple plate blends very naturally with the design of the vase. I noticed how a natural wood cutout can decorate the interior of a room. As the creative process progressed, the idea arose to use several cuts to stylise the Biblical heroes Adam and Eve, and to give them a deeper meaning, to call the plates ‘Tree of Life’, symbolising our life on earth.
